2022 CIAA OFFENSIVE ROOKIE OF THE YEAR: Isaiah Freeman, Lincoln (PA),...A talented quarterback from Chester, PA, Freeman finished second in the CIAA with 1,664 passing yards and 2,049 yards of total offense in nine games. He threw 13 passes to just three interceptions and rushed for four more scores. Freeman, who was also named a 2022 Second-Team All-CIAA selection, had six games with multiple touchdowns, including a four-touchdown performance with 298 yards passing in a 29-28 road win over Johnson C. 2019 FIRST TEAM ALL-CIAA (COACHES): Defensive Lineman Solomon Bassett, Lincoln (PA),...Bassett earns first Team honors for the second consecutive year, the first player in modern program history to be named to the all-CIAA First Team twice. Triplett was selected as a Second Team honoree and was also named to the All-CIAA Offensive Rookie team. Voting for the CIAA All-conference teams was conducted by conference football coaches and sports information directors associations in conjunction with the conference office. Bassett turned in another solid year for the lions leading the team in sack with six and tackles for loss with 12.

In addition, he also blocked a school record five kicks in 2019, the most at any level in NCAA football. His 61 yards from tackles for loss ranks him fifth in the CIAA and his 12 tackles for loss ranks sixth in the conference. Appearing in 40 games over the course of his Lincoln career, Bassett is the Lions all-time leader in fumbles recovered (6) and blocked kicks (8). 2019 SECOND TEAM ALL-CIAA (COACHES) & ALL-ROOKIE TEAM (COACHES): Wide Receiver Dah'mear Triplett, Lincoln (PA),...Triplett leads all CIAA rookies and is second overall with 42 pass receptions this season. His 42 catches are the most by a Lions' football player since Andre Price had 48 in 2017. Dah'mear leads the team with seven touchdowns (sixth highest among receivers in the CIAA). The freshman receiver also ranks fourth in the CIAA averaging 63.1 yards per game.

In the Lions week #7 game at Elizabeth City State, Triplett tied a school record with three touchdown catches. He finished the game with six receptions. Triplett equaled his catch total with six against Chowan on November 9 picking up 156 yards in the process, one yard shy of the school record of 157 set nine years earlier against Chowan by Matthew Coston (Queens, N.Y./Dover HS). - Lincoln (PA) Football
